Addaptiv Ltd. Founder, William Nolan, is a Manufacturing and Operations Engineer with 15 years of experience across the Medical Device, Automotive & Manufacturing Industries. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing and Operations Engineering from University of Limerick, he moved into the Medical Device Industry. Over a number of years he worked in multiple roles in Ireland, Germany and the U.S.A. He held numerous positions including; Continuous Improvement, Advanced Operations, Quality Assurance, Project Management and Manufacturing Operations.
In the years that followed he was quickly promoted due to his focus on Additive Manufacturing, more commonly known as '3D Printing'.
William was involved in developing the technology in many areas including; Hardware & Software Development for SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) 3D Printing Technology, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM), Materials & Process Development and Quality & Validation for high volume production. He was also a leader in developing new training methods, technical training of staff and rolling out new Additive Manufacturing processes across International sites. This has led William to obtain a vast amount of knowledge and experience in many areas of Additive Manufacturing.
Following on from this experience William realised the potential for applying this technology under his own business venture and subsequently founded Addaptiv Ltd. in 2020.
His goal is to drive the adoption of Additive Manufacturing, in multiple Industries, ranging from small scale startups to larger enterprises. Addaptiv Ltd. will deliver projects to their customers and enable them to realise the benefits of this disruptive technology.

Iliya Georgiev is a 4th year student, currently studying BBus Marketing in Munster Technological University.
Following his academic internship in 3rd year with IGNITE UCC where he gained valuable experience in marketing the business incubation programme across Ireland, social media management & business administration, Iliya joined Addaptiv Ltd. to help boost the social media presence & help bring Addaptiv to the forefront of Additive Manufacturing in Ireland.
Jason is an Additive Manufacturing Process Engineer with almost 2 years of engineering experience,
between national & multinational companies. Jason is set to graduate this year with a Bachelors of
Engineering in Design and Manufacture. In particular, Jason has over 2 years of experience in
Additive Manufacturing, ranging from college, personal & professional endeavours, as well as
projects on Additive Manufacturing technologies in the construction industry.
Through his Additive Manufacturing experience, Jason realised the potential for applying the technology & is dedicated to driving the adoption of the process across multiple industries.
John is an Additive Manufacturing Process Engineer who has experience working with national & multi-national organisations within the Automation, IT & Medical Device sectors. John was involved in a wide range of projects ranging from Machine Verification & Validation to Vision Systems.
John discovered 3D printing during college and throughout the projects he was involved in, applying his design skills and additive manufacturing knowledge to develop rapid prototypes that solve complex engineering problems. John is set to soon graduate from the University of Limerick
with a Bachelor’s degree in Design & Manufacture Engineering.
